mediaman stages new Hyundai ix35

The campaign Web site developed by the Mainz office of the digital network forms the focal point of all advertising measures for the launch of the ix35 in Europe. The Heart [&] Mind campaign for the market introduction of the new model was adapted for this.

“A clever roll-out concept and a sophisticated technical basis guarantee the look and feel of the campaign, but at the same time give the countries the greatest possible freedom with respect to country-specific features – especially when it comes to their texts and product visualizations,” explains Client Service Director Jessica Schmidt of mediaman. “Here we transferred the campaign idea onto the Internet effectively, playfully, and in a manner appropriate to the medium.”

A master Web site based on XML/XHTML ensures that Hyundai’s local companies can adapt the Web special to their needs by themselves easily and quickly: all texts can be edited, contact and dialog functions can be linked to the local Web presence using interfaces.

The ix35 replaces its predecessor Tucson and is the key product of this successful, striving Korean automobile manufacturer for its new Western-modern positioning. This new compact SUV is the first model with a hexagon radiator grill and in its design and manufacture follows the current trend away from the rustic off-road look towards dynamic proportions.

In 2009, Hyundai Motor Europe chose mediaman as its new European Master Agency Digital Services for rolling-out the new consistent Web presence in the European markets.
